Get Your Game On at the Con

The three-day Middle East Games Con kicks off today with celebrity meets, new launches and a Fornite Challenge. Today, celebrity Lucie Pohl, the German-American TV and film actor, who is also the voice of Mercy from Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch and Rixxa Fluxflame from World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth, will be attending. Joining her on the last two days will be the Geralt of Rivia, Doug Cockle. The American actor-director, who voices the character from The Witcher gaming series, will headline the event at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) .

Highlights this year also include a Fortnite Challenge, with the prize purse tallying at Dh10,000, along with 5,000 V-Bucks up for grabs, the in-game digital currency. Other events planned for the convention includes a Cosplay catwalk, gaming workshops, an indie developer showcase, Japanese Anime collectives, product launches, and more.
