‘Michael Jackson’ coming to Dubai

Michael Jackson impersonator Sergio Cortes is set to perform at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre on November 2 as a homage to the late pop star.

The Spanish performer, who bears an uncanny resemblance to the King of Pop, will pay tribute to a particular stage in Jackson’s life, the History World Tour. It was Jackson’s third and final worldwide tour as a solo artist, hitting 57 cities across five continents.

Cortes began impersonating Jackson in the late 80s, when a reporter noted his resemblance to the pop star. He went on to work as a decoy for the singer in 1994, misleading the media during Jackson’s wedding to Lisa Marie Presley.
