Committee to curb Indian DTH devices
The
Pakistan Supreme Court has ordered that a committee suggests measures to curb the unchecked availability of smuggled Indian direct-to-home (DTH) devices across the country.
The directive was issued on Thursday by a threejudge bench, that had taken up a case relating to the easy availability of Indian DTH devices in local markets.
The court directed the committee to submit their recommendations in 10 days. It also ordered Customs to find out how such devices were being smuggled into Pakistan. (IANS)
