After spending nearly 20 years in the entertainment industry, Alam announced his passion for flying and dream to fly around the world in 2015. But little did he know about the challenges. Alam’s lack of flying experience led to problems in finding the suitable aircraft and insurance, compulsory for flying in international air space and airports. Finally, his endeavours paid off when Pilatus PC 12NG was approved. Getting visas for more than 20 countries was another enormous task, which Alam said was managed by MoonJet. Lastly, the nature of the journey cost him nearly $1 million (Dh3.67 million) reportedly.
