Nawaz told to depose in steel mills case

An Accountability Court of Islamabad yesterday ordered former prime minister Nawaz Sharif to record his statement in Al Azizia Steel Mills corruption case in the next hearing after the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) apprised the court regarding completion of its evidence.

Sharif appeared before the court with his legal team. NAB prosecutor Wasiq Malik said NAB’s evidence in the case against Sharif had been completed. He also submitted the copies of Supreme Court orders regarding the case. (APP)
