UAE takes part in joint military drill in Egypt

UAE Armed Forces are participating in the joint Arab military exercise titled ‘Arab Shield 1’ which is taking place from November 3 to 16 at the Mohammad Najeeb Military Base in Egypt.

The exercise will involve land, naval and air special forces, and aim to strengthen joint military cooperation between Egypt and other Arab countries in order to build combat capabilities and deliver common goals. Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan are participating, with Morocco and Lebanon as observers. (WAM)
