Brazilian duo put Antlers in control

duo Leo Silva and Serginho scored to ensure Kashima Antlers take a two-goal advantage into the second leg of the Asian Champions League final next week following their 2-0 victory over Iran’s Persepolis yesterday.

Antlers, who are looking to win the continental title for the first time, took the lead two minutes before the hour mark when Leo Silva struck.

Twelve minutes later, Serginho scored his fifth goal in five Asian Champions League games. (Reuters)
