Armed men storm Karachi Press Club

Several

gunmen in plainclothes barged into the Karachi Press Club (KPC), searched the building and harassed reporters there, a Club official said yesterday.

“Dozens of gunmen in plainclothes entered the Karachi Press Club at 10.30pm, harassed journalists, and examined different rooms, kitchen and upper floor,” Niamat Khan, Joint Secretary of the club, said.

The men arrived in several vehicles, including a police unit. Authorities have promised to investigate the incident. (APP)
