KRO Hospitality acquires Asha’s in Manchester
KRO to add 49-room luxury hotel in the upper floors of building housing Asha’s
KRO Hospitality announced it has acquired Asha’s, a popular restaurant serving Indian cuisine in Manchester.
The venue occupies one of Manchester’s Victorian palazzo buildings. The restaurant covers 6,000 square feet, with two floors, and has been recognised in the Michelin Food Guide.
The acquisition of Asha’s is the latest by KRO Hospitality, which purchased the freehold ■ of the venue with plans to create a 49-bedroom boutique hotel within the upper floors of the building. The luxury hotel is expected to open in 2019. The Manchester-based company also owns Canal Street’s Velvet Hotel and neighbouring restaurant Mr White’s English Chophouse.
