Sharjah charity builds hospital for Rohingya

new 100-bed hospital built by Sharjah-based charity The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF) will help serve 140,000 Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh.

Located at the Kutupalong camp situated in the Cox’s Bazar district of Bangladesh, the hospital was recently opened by Shaikh Sultan Bin Ahmad Al Qasimi, Humanitari­an Envoy of the TBHF, and chairman of the Sharjah Media Council (SMC), which helped raise Dh3 million in donations earlier this year through its public fundraisin­g initiative.
