UN backing of Pakistan’s motions hailed

Spokesperson for the Foreign Office Dr Mohammad Faisal yesterday said the adoption of three resolutions by the main committee of the United Nations was a testimony to Pakistan’s commitment to regional and international peace and security.

These resolutions moved by Pakistan and adopted on November 8, were focused on regional disarmament, conventional arms control at regional and sub-regional levels as well as confidence building measures in the regional and sub-regional context. (APP)
