Hollywood celebs left ‘homeless’

-

There was little reprieve from the California wildfires sweeping through the star-filled enclave of Malibu. Alyssa Milano tweeted her house was “in jeopardy”, but she had got help — and her horses and the children were safe. “I am thinking so deeply for everyone who is suffering today from these abominable fires,” Lady

Gaga tweeted. “I’m sitting here with many of you wondering if my home will burst into flames. All we can do is pray together.”

Martin Sheen, interviewed after fleeing his home on the beach, said the fire was the worst he had ever seen. He said he feared his house was destroyed. He gave a shoutout to his family to let them know he and his wife were safe. Shannen Doherty, who’d been out of town when the fire broke out, said friends staying at her Malibu house evacuated safely with her dogs. She expressed gratitude to the firefighters “putting their lives on the line for all of us”.
