On this day in 2004, rap artist and Wu-Tang Clan founding member Ol’ Dirty Bastard collapsed and died at fellow rapper RZA’s recording studio. An autopsy revealed the cause of death to be an accidental drug overdose. According to witnesses, ODB had been complaining of chest pains the day that he died, which was two days before his 36th birthday.
