Actor Alok Nath expelled from artist association

Alok Nath was on Tuesday expelled by the Cine And Television Artistes Association (Cintaa), weeks after writer-producer Vinta Nanda accused him of raping her 19 years ago. “In view of the various allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct against Alok Nath, the Executive Committee of Cintaa has decided to expel him,” the association wrote on Twitter.
