Delhi-NCR air quality improves to ‘poor’

The air quality of the national capital and areas around it markedly improved yesterday from “very poor” to “poor” category as pollutants got washed away due to sporadic rains and unexpected good surface winds.

Air quality is likely to slightly improve further over the next few days and temperatures are expected to fall but dry north-westerly winds are blowing over Delhi.

The wind speeds are likely to catch up from today, extending till Monday, experts said. (IANS)
