Lion Air crash victim’s family sues Boeing
The family of an Indonesian man killed in the Lion Air crash on October 29 is suing Boeing, alleging the accident may have been caused with a flight-control system issue in its newest 737 plane.
Rio Nanda Pratama’s father filed the lawsuit on Wednesday, over the death of the 26-year-old who was due to have married this week. Pratama’s fiance made headlines after she posed alone in a wedding gown. Pratama was among the 189 killed when the Boeing 737-MAX plunged into the Java Sea. (AFP)
