Woman kills her daughter, injures son

A woman attempted suicide after allegedly slitting the throats of her two children because of her “unhappy marriage”, in south Delhi’s Hauz Rani area yesterday, police said.

Mohsina, 30, and her two children were rushed to hospital by her family and neighbours, but her threeyear-old daughter died. Mohsina and her one-and-ahalf-year old son are in critical condition. Police said she argued with her husband on Friday night about him coming home late and drunk. The couple had reportedly fought regularly.
