ITU elects two TRA officials for top posts

International Telecommunications Union (ITU) elected two Emiratis for top posts at the 20th Plenipotentiary Conference, held from October 29 to November 16 in Dubai.

Saif Bin Galaita, Executive Director of Technology Development Affairs Department, Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), was elected Vice-Chairman of the ITU Council and Abdul Aziz Al Zarooni, Information Security Engineer at the TRA, was named Chairman of the Working Group on Child Online Protection initiative of ITU.
