‘The Donkey King’ is a box office success

The film, which stars Afzal Khan in the titular voice role, closed week five at PKR180 million (Dh4.9 million) recently. No other animation film has reached or surpassed this amount. Directed by Aziz Jindani, the film raced ahead of the many major releases this year.
