Mahira shines in ad

Mahira Khan’s latest project is a TV commercial where she is seen sharing screen space with Mom star Adnan Siddiqi. It is the two stars’ first appearance together. The advert shows Khan dressed up as a bride and walking down the aisle, while Siddiqi — with help from the prosthetics and make-up department — plays the dear daddy fairly convincingly.

It is directed by the leading ad filmmaker Asadul Haq whose credits include 2015’s critical and box office disaster, Dekh Magar Pyar Se, which starred Humaima Malik. Khan’s heavily sequinned outfit is designed by famous fashion designer Ali Xeeshan.
