Toddler chokes to death in freak accident

three-year-old Emirati girl died on Sunday when a flagpole rope accidentally wrapped around her neck while she was playing.

Fujairah Police said the accident occured at child’s family home in Al Quryah area. They said the girl was playing without supervision on the family’s property.

The girl was taken to Fujairah hospital but she had died before her arrival. The body of the girl was handed over to her family for burial. The girl was buried on Monday in Al Qurayah cemetery. (Staff Report)
