Al Ain Church organises walkathon

Mary’s Catholic Church in Al Ain is organising a walkathon on Friday at 8.30am as part of Year of Zayed celebration. “The walk from Al Ain Palace Museum to the church will express our solidarity and gratitude to this nation,” the organisers said.

Around 1,000 people of different nationalities will participate in the event. Dr George Mathew, winner of Abu Dhabi Award, will be the chief guest at a meeting at the church compound that will honour 100 unsung heroes among blue-collar workers from various Al Ain companies. (Staff Report)
