Army chief visits troops at Siachen Glacier

commander Lieutenant-General Ranbir Singh yesterday visited the Siachen warriors protecting the frontiers of the country at the world’s highest battle field.

“Lieutenant-General Ranbir Singh, General Officer Commanding in Chief Northern Command today visited and interacted with the troops deployed on the highest battlefield in the world,” Defence Ministry spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Devender Anand told journalists yesterday. (IANS)
