Two medics die in Signature Bridge accident

Two

medical students riding a motorcycle were killed yesterday after ramming into a divider on the new Signature Bridge and falling into the Yamuna river, police said.

The incident occurred at 8.40am. “The deceased have been identified as Satya Vijay Shankaran, 23, and Chandershekhar, 26,” Deputy Commissioner of Police A.K. Thakur said. “When they took the left turn, they lost balance and hit the divider. With the impact, the two fell from the bridge,” the DCP said. (IANS)
