Coaches from China ready for Nagpur metro

The first three subway train coaches produced by Chinese train manufacturer for the Nagpur Metro have come off the production line.

CRRC Dalian, an affiliate of China’s top train manufacturer CRRC Corporation, is scheduled to produce 69 coaches and provide maintenance for 10 years for the Nagpur Metro, state-run Xinhua News Agency reported yesterday.

The stainless-steel body coaches are designed to run at a maximum speed of 80km/h and will run on two urban lines.
