Khalifa pardons prisoners ahead of National Day

His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered the release of 785 prisoners on the occasion of the UAE’s 47th National Day.

Shaikh Khalifa will also settle the financial debts and liabilities of the prisoners.

The decision to pardon prisoners comes as part of Shaikh Khalifa’s keenness to give the pardoned inmates an opportunity to reform themselves and start a new life and ease the suffering of their families. (Staff Report)
