Kannada actor Ambareesh mourned

Minister Narendra Modi, Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu, superstars of the south Indian film industries and Bollywood, fans and political leaders across India yesterday paid tribute to Kannada actor-turnedpolitician M.H. Ambareesh, who died of a cardiac arrest on Saturday.

The superstar of the sandalwood industry, Ambareesh was a dedicated parliamentarian, Naidu tweeted. Karnataka has declared a three-day mourning and a state funeral for Ambareesh. (IANS)
