National UAE Art Festival to host 100 artists

The Queen Elizabeth 2 (QE2) will host the National UAE Art Festival from noon to 5pm on December 2 to mark 47th National Day.

The festival will host 100 artists to celebrate Shaikh Zayed’s 100th birth anniversary under the theme ‘The vision of Zayed’. Each artist will be given a canvas and will have to paint live using the four colours of the UAE flag (green, red, white and black) to creatively express the theme. The sixth edition of the festival will also celebrate the impact of Shaikh Zayed on the lives of people through the live paintings. (Staff Report)
