The UAE’s annual government meetings aim to highlight the programmes and efforts undertaken to meet the objectives of Vision 2021 and targets set for the next ten years, as well as developing plans and strategies that seek to lay the foundation for the UAE Centennial 2071. Chaired by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, the government meetings unveiled a ten-year roadmap for the country’s vital sectors, including seven key strategies and more than 100 national initiatives. Here are the highlights:

The aim of the meetings is to answer two questions: Where did we get today as a state? And where do we want to get in the next 50 years?”
