UAE Central Bank to issue special coins

The UAE Central Bank announced that it will issue a commemorative silver coin, a commemorative Dh1 coin, and a Dh100 banknote with the ‘Year of Zayed’ logo, for the 47th National Day.

The currency will pay tribute to the UAE’s founding father, Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The silver coin will be available for sale at the Central Bank main office and branches, while the Dh1 coin and the special edition Dh100 banknote will be introduced into circulation. (WAM)
