Celebrating national identity

The UAE national flag is flying high as government and private organisations gear up to celebrate 47th National Day on December 2. The long weekend also means that the celebrations will include fireworks, concerts and cultural programmes. The festivities have already begun with the GEMS network of schools (above and below right), Skyline University (below) organising events to celebrate National Day. The Department of Culture and Tourism-Abu Dhabi has also lined up several activities as have Dubai and Sharjah.
