Year of Zayed Art Exhibit

Exhibition by Annabelle Smith Bigno, showcasing different paintings about Abu Dhabi, its landmarks and history as well as the UAE heritage brought about by the leadership of Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father. At Park Rotana Abu Dhabi, until December 8.

Emirates Palace

The Abu Dhabi hotel is decorated in colours of the UAE flag to mark the National Day. Emirates Palace is hosting attraction­s inside the hotel, including a display of seven kinds of dates, the chance to see the UAE’s national bird, the falcon and traditiona­l Al Ayalah dance performanc­es. The Grand Dome area will also feature a children’s corner with educationa­l and entertainm­ent, alongside a new Louvre Abu Dhabi corner. Emirates Palace will also display a full size dhow replica as a tribute to the UAE.Activities and face painting to be held in the Dome from 12pm until 7pm.
