Is KCR becoming jittery over the possibility of defeat?

Is the caretaker chief minister of Telangana, K. Chandrasekhar Rao, becoming jittery as the united opposition unexpectedly poses a strong challenge to him?

Not only did the president of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti party (TRS) lose his cool when a man asked him regarding the unfulfilled promise of 12 per cent reservation to Muslims in one meeting; he also shocked people at another meeting when he said voters in Telangana were not mature.

‘You keep quiet’

In the first incident, video footage of which has gone viral, KCR blasted a man in Kagaznagar town when he dared to interrupt his speech and ask, “What about 12 per cent reservations”?

A visibly upset KCR shouted at the man, “I will talk, you keep quiet. I will talk about 12 per cent but you sit down quietly.”

At another election meeting in Adilabad KCR chided voters for their “casual and immature attitude”.

“In India, voters are not mature enough when it comes to selecting the right candidate. They vote without thinking and unfit candidates get elected”, KCR said. He cautioned the people against electing the candidates of the opposition alliance in the state.

Earlier, KCR had created a stir by warning people that he will not be the loser if the TRS is defeated as he will retire to his farm house and take rest. It is the state that will suffer, he said.
