Government resigns

Bahrain’s Prime Minister Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday presented the government’s resignation to King Hamad Bin Eisa Al Khalifa.

The resignation follows parliamentary elections held over two rounds on November 24 and December 1.

Under Article 33 of the constitution, a new cabinet is formed at the start of a new parliamentary term.
