International Day of Disabled screening

Screening of a documentary Pick of the Litter which follows a litter of puppies from the moment they’re born and begin their quest to become guide dogs for the blind. Cameras follow these pups through an intense two-year odyssey as they train to become dogs whose ultimate responsibility is to protect their blind partners from harm. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the directors Dana Nachman and Don Hardy moderated by UAE athlete Chaica Al Qassemi. At Cinema Akil, Al Serkal Avenue, Dubai, 7.30pm. Free screening, firt-come-first-seated. In Abu Dhabi the screening will take place on December 5, at Manarat Al Saadiyat, 8pm.
