National privatisation list amended

Senate Standing Committee on privatisation was yesterday informed that 15 national institutions have been deleted from the privatisation list and eight were included in it.

The committee meeting was held yesterday under the chairmanship of Mir Mohammad Yousuf at parliament lodges. The members further said that most national institutions included in the privatisation list were in financial crisis. However, some were being privatised in order to improve their performance, the committee was told.
