heroin seized, man arrested

Police yesterday foiled a bid to smuggle drugs from Jamrud area to different parts of the country by recovering 12kg of heroin during checking near Baghe-Naraan Hayatabad.

According to police, the heroin was hidden in secret compartments in a car coming from Jamrud to Peshawar. Police has also arrested the smuggler identified as Bagh Mohammad of Kuki Khel area Jamrud. A case has been registered against the arrested and investigations are underway.
