Careem launches bus service in Cairo

Bus, a new midpriced service from Dubaibased company Careem, has launched in Cairo, the firm said.

Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are set to follow “in the near future.”

The service will operate on a different app from the car-booking company. It is currently available on iOS and Android.

Customers will have the option of picking the bus that best suits their time, and track it. Fares will be 60-70 per cent cheaper than the Careem car service. (Staff Report)
