What makes a property a landmark?
There are various factors that define and distinguish a landmark from any other property. The way a property is projected and perceived depends on the initial plans that it stands on. A landmark property is one that, over the years, nurtures a relationship with its visitors. A property’s design is its first impression. In order to build a unique structure in a city that already has a galaxy of dazzling buildings, we need to create something that is both graceful and unmissable. It can be dramatic lighting, unconventional balconies, the colour or some unconventional aspect that sets it apart. The building’s location and its proximity to other tourist attractions are also important factors. At times, the location of an existing landmark close to the property can be favourable in generating a buzz. — J.S. Anand
