Twitter users discuss... an article published by the New York Magazine’s The Cut that called Indian actress Priyanka Chopra “a scam artist”. The author received backlash for attempting to prove that Chopra shares a “fraudulent relationship” with Nick Jonas “against his will”. The magazine later apologised.

@smokeillusion:

Still unable to figure out @mRiah what were you thinking when you wrote on the #Priyanka #Jonas wedding assuming it was journalism? And what were the editors @TheCut thinking? Publishing it and then coming up with an apology of an apology?

@ThomasA97026577:

Hey @ TheCut and @mRiah a bit salty aren’t you guys? Not to mention sexist, racist and xenophobic...

@@sid_thee:

And the fact that @ priyankachopra has chosen to not reply or react to that disgusting article ... shows that Priyanka has class and the writer is plain trash!

@TheCut:

An earlier story about Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas did not meet our standards. We’ve removed it and apologise .
