Barcelona to defend La Liga lead

While

the Copa Libertadores final is attracting most of the attention in Spain, La Liga goes on as planned.

Barcelona will defend their lead in the Catalan derby against Espanyol today, while second-placed Sevilla visit Valencia. On the same day, third-placed Atletico Madrid host fourthplaced Alaves.

A few hours before the highly anticipated Copa final between Argentine rivals River Plate and Boca Juniors at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium tomorrow, Real Madrid plays at Huesca. (AP)
