How to be on guard against theft

Do not show valuables to strangers

Do not listen to strangers who pretend to show and tell you that something is wrong with your vehicle

Avoid inadverten­tly exposing cash that you have withdrawn from the bank to passers-by

Avoid writing down the secret code of your credit card; keep your credit card in a safe place.

Beware of person ‘accidental­ly’ spitting or sneezing on your clothes. They do that to steal your wallet while wiping your clothes. Avoid placing money or wallet in the back pocket of the trousers in crowded or public areas

Inform police immediatel­y of any suspicious movement.
