Islamabad says its ready to help Afghan efforts

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmoud Quraishi says the United States has at last agreed with Pakistan’s viewpoint that dialogue is the only solution to bring about peace in Afghanistan.

Talking to the media here yesterday, he said the use of force was not a solution to the Afghanistan issue. He said US President Donald Trump had agreed with Pakistan’s stance and reviewed his Afghan policy. He said the Afghanistan government also agreed on dialogue, adding Pakistan was ready to help. (APP)
