Hamdan fetes Innovation in Project Management winners

Award aims to identify, reward and promote innovation in project management

Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, yesterday awarded the winners of the 2nd Hamdan Bin Mohammad Award for Innovation in Project Management on the final day of the Dubai International Project Management Forum.

The awards, with a prize purse of Dh2.6 million, aim to identify, reward and promote innovation in project management and establish a platform for sharing ideas and training programmes.

Shaikh Hamdan also viewed models of key projects such as the Al Shindagha Bridge being built by the RTA; the new Dewa head office, named the ‘Sail Building’ and will be the world’s tallest, largest and smartest government building with zero carbon emissions. Shaikh Hamdan honoured organisers and sponsors for their role in making the forum a success.
