Triumphant KCR urges new model for India
K. Chandrasekhar Rao, popularly known as KCR, will take oath as the chief minister of India’s Telangana state for the second consecutive term today.
Talking to reporters, the leader of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti party (TRS), lashed out at the Centre, saying it was trying to dominate the state. “Why should the central government [interfere] in areas like rural development, urban development and health? That is why the country needs a new economic and agriculture model.” (Staff Report)
