Hodeida truce is step towards final peace: Iran

yesterday welcomed initial agreements reached at peace talks in Sweden by the opposing sides in Yemen’s war, saying it was a step towards a final peace accord.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said: “The agreement is significant. The deal showed that the Yemeni groups understood the deplorable conditions of the innocent Yemeni people.”

Saudi Arabia accuses Tehran of supplying the Al Houthi militia with weapons. (Reuters)
