Ninth edition of SIAL Mideast F&B exhibition concludes
Shaikh Mansour inaugurates exhibition, highlights food security
The ninth edition of SIAL Middle East, an annual food, beverage, and hospitality exhibition, kicked off last week, inaugurated by Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
The exhibition was held under his patronage and through a strategic partnership with Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority. Shaikh Mansour toured the pavilions of participating countries and companies, met with several officials from participating authorities, and was briefed about their products and services.
He highlighted the importance of the National Strategy for Food Security, which was launched by the UAE government to promote regional and international cooperation.
The strategy also aims to restructure relevant policies to be in line with the challenges facing the global food industry and the consequences change.
Shaikh Mansour visited the pavilion of LuLu Group, which is the retail partner of SIAL Middle East and was briefed about various initiatives by Yousuf Ali MA, chairman of LuLu Group. LuLu Group participated at SIAL, showcasing its initiatives to support and promote the vegetables and fruits grown by Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs, along with LuLu’s own range of food products under its brand. of climate
