UNB CEO gets Golden Order of Merit Award
CEO awarded for role in growth of UNB Group and his role in its public administration
The head of Union National Bank (UNB) received the Golden Order of Merit Award in Public Administration in the Arab World, from the Tatweej Academy for Excellence and Quality in Dubai.
Mohammad Nasr Abdeen, UNB’s chief executive officer, was awarded for his role in the public administration of UNB Group and his leadership in the institutional development witnessed by the group in the last two decades.
He received the certificate of excellence and the Order of Merit for his achievements from Pierre Moukarzel, president ■ of the Excellence Awards Foundation, and Dubai chairman of the Arab Organisation for Social Responsibility.
The ceremony awarded many prominent figures from various Arab countries working in different industries.
“I am proud to receive such a prestigious award of excellence in public administration. I present this award to Shaikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and UNB chairman, and to all employees of the group for their dedication to achieving such distinctive results,” Abdeen said.
“I would like also to thank all UNB clients for their confidence in the bank and the services offered that assist them in various aspects of their lives and encourage them to carry out more investments and savings,” he added.
