Further remand for Briton in helicopter case

- NEW DELHI

A Delhi court yesterday extended by another four days the remand in Central Bureau of Investigat­ion (CBI) custody of British national Christian Michel, the middleman accused in the Rs36 billion (Dh1.83 billion) Agusta-Westland helicopter deal.

Special Judge Arvind Kumar allowed the CBI to quiz Michel until December 15. The CBI had sought an additional five days’ custody of Michel. Special Public Prosecutor D.P. Singh told the court Michel is required to be taken to Mumbai. (IANS)
