Hamdan launches 13 future councils

Bodies tasked with sharing knowledge and expertise

Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), has launched 13 future councils, offering a futuristic platform to build and prospect the future of key sectors in Dubai for the next 50 years.

The launch of the Dubai Future Councils is in line with the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, VicePresid­ent and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The councils are: the Council for the Future of Transporta­tion, Council for the Future of Talents, Council for the Future of Media, Council for Artificial Intelligen­ce, Council for the Future of Health, Council for the Future of Humanitari­an Work, and the Council for the Future of Society Security.

They also include the Council for the Future of Logistic Services, Council for the Future of Cities, Council for the Future of Energy, Council for the Future of Education, Council for the Future of Entreprene­urship and Innovative Environmen­t, and the Council for the Future of Digital Transactio­ns.

The councils are tasked with sharing knowledge and expertise to find solutions to the various challenges, launch initiative­s and national strategies to create future and current opportunit­ies, with the participat­ion of leading government and private sector experts.
